Use a “soft start” burst mode that gradually increases the number of cycles over time, or select a “distributed burst” algorithm if available. This spreads the conducted cycles more evenly over time, reducing sub-harmonic components that cause visible lamp flicker. Alternatively, apply phase-angle control for the lowest flicker.
